Augmented Ideas is where I think out loud about the undercurrents shaping Europe’s economic future—geo-realignment, digital acceleration, sustainability, and the strategic choices they demand.

My day job is with an economics and business think tank. Over 20 years, I’ve convened 800+ strategic conversations with executives at multinationals, first across Asia, now in Europe. That’s given me a habit of horizontal thinking—looking for patterns across domains that usually stay in silos.

This is personal. Just questions I find interesting, written to clarify my own thinking. I speak with executives regularly, ask essential questions, and synthesise what I’m learning.
